The combination of high grade Virginia and Perique tobaccos provides fine, cool smoking enjoyment. The tobacco is circle cut.

I've sampled a LOT of top-shelf pipe tobacco, and this is the best in terms of tin aroma, and more importantly, TASTE. You don't know what you are missing if you don't give this a try! I would rate this higher even than five starts. YOU MUST TRY IT!

it's good enough for me!
The Perique is not overbearing in this smoke - a very nice taste - very cool and smooth.
This could well become and everyday smoke.
You will not be disappointed!

Perique can be a dangerous thing. And straight Virgina can be boring. Escudo has just the right mix of both to provide hours of contemplative enjoyment any day, in any season. It is the all-time favorite of the great Danish pipe artisan, Erik Nording, who recomended it to me. Try it and you'll find out why.
