From USA to Italy
Giampaolo Rai (Italy) 6/19/2014 10:28 AM
In Italy this tobacco is not for sale, so I have to buy it from the United States. Needless to say that I really like it, it is rich in aroma and delicate in the mouth. In my opinion it is the best McClelland's tobacco, for the fans medium strength tobacco a must.

its a good blend. but honestly it is almost too smooth for me. i like english blends like my steak. thick and rare.. this was more like a slightly salted turkey leg.

Amazing! I'm a first time pipe smoker. Researched it online while I obsessed about it. Found Frog Morton. Tolkien, no way! I ordered some online. I'm from a small town in Canada. No tobacco shops here. I bought a cheapie pipe, watched many youtube videos, packed a bowl when it arrived. I was loving it. I like the pipe process. Pack it. Light it. Tamp it. Light again and smoke. Im hooked. I would recommend this tobacco, and any Frog Morton blends to any new, and salty dog piper. Its magical.

All day - all year smoke!

I go with the Frog on this one --- first time with a Perique mixture and I was most pleasantly surprised by the taste and smooth smoking. One of my favorites.

Great Balkan/Perique
Zeaward (Miami, FL) 7/15/2009 6:47 PM
This was my first blend with perique in it, and I understand that it's one of the first to mix the Balkan elements with the peppery herb. I've smoked it now for over 4 months and I've detected no lessening of its fullness or its ability to put me in "The Zone." Maybe I've been able to avoid any diminution of its good qualities by carefully avoiding getting into a rut with it and inserting it into a well-stocked rotation scheme. I liked it then, and I like it now.
