LNF
K.D. (Fort Worth, TX) 3/16/2014 8:27 AM
If you like Virginia/Perique flake, this is a good one. I like LNF a lot. I smoke it folded and stuffed. It is sweet and and not too spicy. It has a good VaPer taste, I can't detect any topping and get the usual VaPer raisin/plum from the leaf. Mild, tasty, fragrant...an all day smoke for me. This is a quality, inexpensive VaPer flake.

Very Nice
M. S. O'Dell (Phoenix, AZ) 1/11/2014 11:26 AM
A very light Virginia mix with just the right amount of perique, not overly strong. If you are a Virginia purest looking for a little more pepper this is for you. Burns well folded or rubbed out.

Use As A Mixer
Wayne Levick (Woy Woy, New South Wales) 12/10/2012 11:58 PM
Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake if mixed with the correct proportions with McClelland Ribbon Cut Perique – and the proportions are a matter for you – really lifts an otherwise very ordinary tobacco into something special. The Perique is peppery in the most delicious of ways, fortifying an otherwise dull flake. As a bulk mixing tobacco Luxury Navy Flake has some advantages – just don't forget the Perique or whatever else takes your fancy - to give the blend some character. I just know it will blend well with some of the deadly rope tobaccos by Gawith Hoggarth. As an unassuming straight smoke, I'm not a fan. But as a mixing tobacco I know this has potential.

What Could Have Been
Wayne Levick (Woy Woy, New South Wales) 11/22/2012 6:53 AM
Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake is a sad smoke. What could have been. Nothing luxurious about it. Flat, dull, unfulfilled and ordinary. Couldn't detect Perique. I guess I'll smoke it when I'm desperate, but I doubt it'll improve with age. Think of it as Escudo's sickly, younger cousin.
