In 1960, Luigi “Gigi” Radice and his sons began
making pipes in Italy. Radice had a rich history in the pipe making
business, working for Costello and then co-founding Caminetto Pipes, giving him the
skill and expertise to introduce his own line of pipes. The Radice pipes are made with the highest quality Tuscan briar,
seasoned for at least four years, and fitted with Lucite stems. The
chambers of these pipes are never coated, creating a smoother smoke from
this tobacco pipe. The Radice pipes are smooth, sand-blasted, rusticated models.
Radice designed his pipes with his own classical Italian flair.
Strong lines and innovative designs, along with the use of the oil
curing process, put the Radice brand on the map. His skill and inventiveness lead to the creation of an excellent
line of pipes. Anyone who smokes a Radice pipe will see the ingenuity
put into each pipe, as well as the smoothness of the smoke.
