You either like it or you don’t, it seems. Whether it is the burley forward that gets a little musty flavor with the dark notes, but I like it. I prefer to press my ready rub into a cake, with a little sugar water casing, and let it set for a couple of weeks. I find the flavors mellow a bit and it ages nicely. Best in the evening or fall/ spring for me personally, but it can go well with a cup of coffee in the morning. Heck, that pretty much makes it an every sample with a nice nic hit.
