Classic. Even out the tin it was lovely. I got 5 tins, smoked out of one, and I am cellaring the other four because as a straight Virginia it will only get better. I understand why JRR Tolkien bought it 22 pounds at a time!

Good smoke an everyday one all day, nothing outstanding but very pleasant, apparently JRR Tolkien's favourite smoke, I have never read him, I'm more of a Camus man, who indecently liked the old tobacco.

One of my first full Virginia pipe tobaccos, all the usual notes of hay grass and light as usual. It’s naturally sweet, with a pleasant room note and doesn’t bite when smoked too hot.
