CARTER HALL - 2oz

Carter Hall is a brand that has been around for ever but one I haven’t tried. I thought that should be rectified. This is a mild, pleasant smoke that I could find no fault in. On the other hand I could also find no reason to recommend it.

Carter Hall is very good Codger blends. I really like the fact you sell in 2 Oz packs as th only other choice is the large can. I hope you will state selling Carter hall in bulk. Thank you for the fast shipping.

Was fine stayed lit the entire bowl just didn’t care for the taste. Tried it a few years ago just wanted to revisit to see if my tastes changed.

I admit I was pretty harsh in my last review on Carter Hall. I decided to give it several more tries to see if there is any change in my outlook. This time I made a more serious attempt to put more focus in the details of smoking a pipe including smoking the pipe outdoors in the cold crisp winter air in Canada where the notes of the smoke are more vibrant. I noticed a consistant significant improvement in my experience with Carter Hall. I actually detected notes that were mildly pleasant to where I can honestly say that its unoffensive and worth continuing to smoke the rest of my small stash that I just purchased without contempt. Would I buy it again. Probably not. There are other codgers that I find more pleasant such as the Captain Black line or the Lane products. that said im giving it a 3 out of 5.
