What I really like about this tobacco is the way that it burns cool and produces a good volume of smoke. For a rather moist tobacco, it burns surprisingly well. Mind you, I followed the advice of others: "always let your tobacco dry for longer than you think is necessary". I also used my Missouri Meerschaum Patriot corn cob pipe as recommended by other online reviewers and I wasn't disappointed. I was expecting something more like McClelland's Best of Show but I found it more flavoursome than aromatic, and without the often-overpowering vanilla scent. If you like a rum flake or other rich wine-flavoured tobacco, I believe this is worth a try. It will certainly be a staple tobacco for me.
